- My interest in art began with the purchase of a small oil painting in Germany more than 40 years ago.
This was the starting point of a hobby, which is still captivating me today: the collection of pieces of art.
Due to my work in the IT - business, which lead to several long-term assignments on the west coast of the United States of America, I gained access to the North-American art market. Over time I was introduced to different types and styles of art, met many artists and was able to purchase quite a variety of paintings from galleries, art exhibitions and art auctions.
In these internet pages I am offering many items of my own collection for sale at reasonable prices. If you see something that might interest you please feel free to contact me.

The Internet presence of DS Fine Art started in Januar 2021. It strives to offer high quality artwork to collectors of original paintings and Limited Edition prints. In addition, a variety of collection plates are being offered. For ease of reference the paintings and prints are organized in different categories.
Many paintings and prints are offered as framed, some as streched canvas, and others as canvas or paper only. Unfortunately, I cannot offer any framing services. Please see detailed descriptions for each individual item. Most items sold are shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Finally, I welcome any suggestions and comments which will help me to improve the DS Fine Art internet pages.
